A. Creative Learning week is a whole school initiative to engage learners out of conventional learning contexts. It seeks to provide memorable learning experiences irrespective of subject or student ability. It also seeks to invigorate traditional downtime periods through thematic learning engaging both student and teacher alike. Students are engaged with worthwhile prolonged experiential learning that is driven by inspiring leaders from within Kingswood School in Corby.

A. Creative Learning week is set to be an recurring annual event that takes place at Kingswood School in Corby Northamptonshire.
Q. When does Creative Learning week take place?
A. Creative Learning week usually takes place in the penultimate week of the final term in the school calendar (end of July).
Q.Who is involved in creative learning week?
A. Creative learning week involves all key stage three students (Years 7,8,9) the majority of staff are involved with some aspect of creative learning week over the week’s duration.
Q. What themes have previous creative learning weeks taken?
A. Themes have included “Xeno Academy”, “Murder Mystery” and “Spy school”
Q. Can i contribute to the construction of creative learning week 2012?
A. Absoulutely! Creative learning week works best when the individuals involved take ownership of the creative aspects of the week. Themes and content are all up for discussion.
